Our Story
Honouring tradition is our foundation, respecting innovation is our future, finding balance is our art.
We are a small, close-knit studio united by a shared belief that kitchens should support real life, not simply look impressive in photographs. Our work is guided by practicality, proportion and a quiet attention to detail, creating spaces that feel calm, functional and naturally part of the home. Every project is handled personally by Jonathan, from the first conversation through to installation, allowing ideas to evolve carefully and ensuring nothing important is lost along the way. By working closely with clients, builders and architects, key decisions can be resolved early, shaping kitchens that feel harmonious, well planned and made to stand the test of time.
Jonathan is our founder and award-winning designer, with over three decades of experience creating kitchens and interiors for private homes across Kent and the wider London area. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, solution-led thinking and confident style, he has built lasting relationships with clients, suppliers and skilled craftspeople alike. He remains closely involved at every stage, guiding important design decisions before construction begins to avoid costly changes later and to ensure the finished space feels resolved from the outset. As he explains, “I believe a successful kitchen is created through collaboration between client, designer and architecture, resulting in a harmonious space designed around the client’s needs, without compromise.
Lisa works closely alongside Jonathan, leading on interior styling and providing continuity as each project moves from early conversations through to completion.
She guides clients through colour choices, finishes and final selections, helping each kitchen feel balanced, cohesive and thoughtfully composed. Behind the scenes she oversees scheduling and coordination, maintaining clear communication so the process progresses smoothly at every stage. Her role brings structure, reassurance and a calm presence throughout, ensuring the experience feels considered, organised and seamless from start to finish.
Imogen brings a thoughtful, creative eye to the visual identity of the Jonathan Reynolds brand. Working closely with Lisa, she helps shape how the studio’s work is presented across the website, advertising and digital platforms, guiding how the brand is seen and experienced. Together they communicate the story behind each project with clarity and warmth, ensuring the thinking, care and craftsmanship are as evident as the finished kitchen itself. Through careful curation and considered messaging, they connect the studio with clients who value thoughtful, well-designed spaces.
